What our students liked best about this SQL class:
- The best thing about this course was the "real
world" examples in the labs and course material. The
course was also challenging, in a good way, so that it made you
really apply what you had learned not only in the current section
but in past sections. You were always building on what you had
already learned throughout the course. -- Debra, Business Systems
Analyst
- Nice coverage of all SQL concepts. Enthusiastic
instructor. Great facilities. I learned whole new ways of approaching
business programs via an enhanced understanding of all of SQL's
attributes. Some material was completely new, and I recognized
immediately where this material could be applied in the real world.
-- George, Business Systems Analyst
- (The instructor) was very thorough and clear in
his explanations. There were some of the labs that I didn't get on
my own, but he was always able to provide a clear explanation that
helped me to understand it better. He has a thorough
knowledge of the subject matter, and was able to translate it to us
very well. -- Carolyn, CMMS Administrator
- The use of the lab exercises and their relation to
real-life type issues. Very effective Instructor!! --
Veronica, Analyst
Would our past students recommend the class to others?
- Yes. There are many SQL programming books
"out there", but it's best to take a week and attend a
class to concentrate on SQL programming. This is very useful
information for anyone who will be "touching" the data
in a RDBMS environment. -- Kevin, DBA
- Yes! The program that I administer requires
a knowledge of SQL to do back-end data manipulation and querying.
This course has given me a starting place to do this. I know
that I will need to continue to build upon the skills that I have
gained this week, but now I know where to begin. -- Carolyn, CMMS
Administrator
